Click to visit Scotch     SCOTCH WICHMANN is a writer and stand-up comedian whose madcap riffs about his life and the world around him spurred the San Francisco Chronicle to describe him as "like eating and snorting [drugs]...then freebasing...then reaching for the turkey baster."
Scotch got his start first as a close-up magician, then as a performance artist in Los Angeles, where his experimental live works were featured at venues like the L.A. Performing Arts Center and the Museum of Contemporary Art. His first novel, a screwball comedy about two performance artists struggling to make it, is due to be published in 2011-2012.
Scotch is a two-time finalist in Northern California's Battle of the Bay Comedy Competition, winning over crowds with his side-splitting views on marriage, shrinks, and celebs. He's also appeared on the BBC's Show Me the Funny reality TV show, and performs across the country at clubs like the Comedy Store (Los Angeles), The Edge (Chicago), the Purple Onion (San Francisco), and Gotham Comedy Club (NYC).

Click to visit Ridley     RIDLEY BARLOW is a burlesque performer, writer, stand-up comedian, and occasional magician's assistant. She's been on stage in one capacity or another since she was 7 years old, beginning with children's musical theater in Ohio, then slowly moving across the country to comedy stages in clubs and bars all over California.
Ridley was a semi-finalist in the Battle of Bay Comedy Competition, and a member of the San Francisco-based comedy troupe The Stand Up Project. She's known for her off-the-cuff audience interactions, as well as her hilariously acerbic take on current events.
Ridley began her burlesque comedy career after relocating to Los Angeles, mesmerizing audiences with her sizzling-sexy dance moves, comedic take on life, and her over-the-top costumes and choreography.

THE ROUGHHAUSERS began as Evil Twins Comedy in San Francisco when Scotch and Ridley discovered they had an incredible chemistry on stage. Posing as long-lost twins recently reunited, Scotch and Ridley kept audiences in stitches with stories of their insane family members and harassing each other in a way only siblings can. In short order the "twins" fell in love (and playing siblings just wasn't working anymore...), so they founded "The Roughhausers" and began new adventures podcasting and performing comedy together.

The 2011 Edinburgh Fringe Festival will usher in the newest chapter of The Roughhausers journey, combining all of their passions and talents into a 60-minute spectacle:

THE ROUGHHAUSERS COMEDY SIDESHOW is a vaudevillian variety act in the classic 1800s tradition with a modern twist and intimate ambience. Witness cheeky burlesque, bizarre magic, tongue-in-cheek comedy, and improvisation in this old-timey show inspired by historical sideshows, freak & medicine shows, and surrealist variety acts. Don't miss it!
